OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Cgrow sustainably.
Operational Excellence is not just about reducing costs or increasing productivity, it is rather a philosophy, which is accompanied by a set of operational tools, which aims to create a corporate culture focused on the production of products and services of value for its customers and the achievement of sustainable long-term growth.
Continuous Improvement
Our goal is to convey to the people of our client organizations, at all levels, the desire for Continuous Improvement, the effort to always do better, day after day.
Our approach to Operational Excellence
The current economic context requires companies not only to define clear and effective strategies, but also to be able to manage their ownoperating activities, whether manufacturing or related to the provision of services, in a mannerexcellent.
The needs of
reduce costs,
deliver faster
,
increase quality levels
,
increase production capacity
,
improve worker safety conditions
and so on, they will always be done
more pressing
and these results will have to be
achieved at the same time
and not one at the expense of the other.
The only way to achieve these objectives in a manner
sustainable over time
, continuing to increase the performance level of its processes, is to create, within organizations, the culture of
Continuous improvement
and of the
Operational Excellence
.
P&I Consulting supports its clients so that they can
embark on the path of Operational Excellence
achieving quickly
concrete results
,
measurable
And
sustainable
.
Our consultants have extensive knowledge of the most effective Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean Management, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, Lean Design, ..) and are able to use the most suitable approach and tools according to specific needs and the level of maturity of the organization.
We offer our customers complete support, ranging from the assessment of needs and priorities, to the implementation of training of company resources at all levels (from Sponsor Training, to the training of operational resources) up to the development of Improvement Programs.
TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Compared to a more traditional approach, which does not involve the transfer of knowledge to company resources by consultants, in our vision this element is fundamental.
We strongly believe in Empowerment (literally
give power
)
,
one of the key principles of Lean Management, according to which transferring knowledge and making the resources of an organization responsible, even the most operational, represents the key to Operational Excellence.
This approach allows the development of a culture of Excellence at all levels of the organization, a common vision aimed at creating value for the customer, in which all resources act to improve processes and resolve critical issues not because it is imposed on them , but because they are intimately convinced that it is the right thing to do, in everyone's interest.
In our experience this approach is the only one capable of making the Improvement sustainable. Organizations that achieve a level of awareness and competence in the field of Operational Excellence are able to continue to progress autonomously over time and do not develop a dependence on consultants.
PROJECT TYPES
As mentioned, our design interventions are designed and shared with the customer based on his specific needs and priorities.
Our consultants, Master Black Belts and Lean Senior Experts, carry out training and operational support, coaching and mentoring activities for the creation of projects that allow the application of the notions and tools covered in the classroom to company processes.
In full coherence with the principles of Operational Excellence, our interventions are strongly focused on obtaining concrete and measurable objectives in terms of business metrics and the associated reductions in unproductive costs (hard savings), for the improvement of the economic results of the 'business.
The most common types of intervention are:
- Assessment of an organization's level of maturity and identification of priorities;
- Operational Excellence Roadmap Definition;
- Operational Excellence Training (Lean Six Sima, Lean Management, Design for Six Sigma, ...);
- Kaizen implementation;
- I use specific Lean tools (e.g. 5S, Value Stream Map, ..);
- Creation of complex improvement programs.
